FIFTY-TWO FRIDAYS: FOREIGN
Foreign – week twenty-five.
Yesterday I asked for suggestions on which city I should draw next, on nunosarmento’s suggestion I have drawn Porto in Portugal, or Oporto as it is known in English. I have done a bit of traveling but have never been to Portugal, the only Oporto I knew about was the fast food place down the road that sells Portuguese-style chicken! After doing some research I think I would quite like to visit Porto, it looks like a beautiful place. And the giant red trowel sculpture by Claes Oldenburg tops it off. I’m not completely happy with the composition but it’s Friday night and I don’t want to start my weekend sitting in front of my computer, so this will do for now.
